Due to recent developments with a member of the CPI, the State FOP, through President Trueblood has offered the use of the FOP Critical Response Team (CRT). The FOP services are for hot debriefs and those finding frustration and stress with recent incidents. The FOP does not keep a record of those participating in any of these services and absolutely no information goes to the employer. The FOP staffs the event(s) with qualified (police) peer support personnel, as well as Chaplains that are also trained in the same modalities. The Chief Deputy Director has been appraised of the availability of the CRT for officer wellness, and if used, the sessions will be at the FOP State Lodge in Springfield. Date(s) and times TBA.
