President Trueblood attended and spoke with Republican Senators as they unveiled their pro police package at a press conference inside the capitol on Tuesday February 1st. State FOP president Chris Southwood, state trustee Tom Longergan from Chicago and DOC president Scot Ward also of FOP joined in support of the package. Funding of $125 million for training is included. Senator Chapin Rose lead the group in the press conference. President Southwood also spoke to the press.
